The story behind it
Snorri Sturluson tells how the gods bound the wolf Fenrir twice, and twice he broke free. The third fetter, Gleipnir, was made from things that do not exist: the sound of a cat's footfall, a woman's beard, the roots of a mountain. It held. Týr lost his hand for it.
This ring is a stylised take, not a replica: a wolf engraved in relief on a dark oxidised band, US sizes 7 to 12.
