The story behind it
In Völsunga saga and the poem Fáfnismál, Fáfnir kills his father for a hoard of gold, then becomes a dragon to lie on it. Sigurd kills him from a pit dug in his path. Around 1030, the story was carved into a rock face at Ramsund, Sweden.
This bracelet is a stylised take, not a replica: around twenty sculpted scales, overlapping and moving with the wrist, darkened between the plates, on a hidden box clasp.
