The story behind it
Eihwaz is the thirteenth rune of the Elder Futhark, and its name is usually read as yew. The Old English Rune Poem calls the yew hard, fast in the earth, a guardian of fire, supported by its roots. Some link it to the World Tree; the Eddas call that tree an ash.
This ring is a stylised take, not a replica: a full Elder Futhark row around the outer band, knotwork at the centre, dark patina with raised highlights, 8mm wide.
