The story behind it
Vígtönn, battle-tooth, is the Old Norse word for a canine or fang, as Cleasby and Vigfússon's dictionary records. That is the only history here. The star, the Roman numerals and the fang are a modern design.
These studs are a stylised take, not a replica: a star-cut stone at the front of the lobe, a sculpted fang with knotwork texture behind it, about 35mm, locked by a screw-back.
