In Völuspá, Odin hurls his spear into the host: the first war in the world. Snorri Sturluson, writing around 1220, names it Gungnir, made by the sons of Ívaldi, a spear that never stopped in its thrust.
These earrings are a stylised take, not a replica: a small spearhead on a closed hoop, three chevrons cut into the blade, a banded collar.
