The story behind it
The cross reached Scandinavia before the old gods left. At Trendgården in Jutland, a 10th-century soapstone mould was found that cast Thor's hammers and crosses side by side. Around 965, King Harald Bluetooth raised a stone at Jelling saying he made the Danes Christian.
This pendant is a stylised take, not a replica: a small Latin cross in 925 sterling silver, distressed against high polish, 2.5cm tall. Chain sold separately.
